DO NOT use if you have any implantable metal device or body piercing in the treatment area. (Flow of electrical energy through the implanted metal may heat the object and cause burns.)
DO NOT use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. (Safety and effectiveness of the device was not tested.)
DO NOT use if you suffer from autoimmune disorders or diabetes. (Skin healing in these cases may be impaired.)
DO NOT use if you have cancer of any type.
DO NOT use if you have any heart disorders.
DO NOT use if you are taking any drugs that affect skin sensitivity (it may affect heat sensation, or increase skin sensitivity to heat and may cause overheating and burns.
DO NOT use if you have any blood clotting disorders.
DO NOT use if you take blood-thinning medications. (The mechanical massage by the device may induce skin hermatomas.)
DO NOT use the NEWA over eyelids, eyebrows, lips, ears, breasts or genital area. The skin in these areas is delicate and sensitive so might be overheated.
DO NOT use the device on red, irritated, inflamed or infected skin. The treatment may worsen these symptoms. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
